Highlights include
Itinerary
Day 1: Hello Cancun
Arrive in Cancun, Mexico's liveliest beach destination. Hit those famous white sands, chill in the shade of a palm tree, or grab a sun-lounger and relax by the pool. As the sun dips below the horizon, grab an ice-cold margarita, and tuck into a sunset seafood dinner on the sands.
Day 2: Beach Life
Swim in the warm sea and soak up the sun on the powder-soft shore. History buffs will love the optional trip to Tulum's Mayan ruins, nature lovers can swim with whale sharks, and for even more beaches, the trip to Isla Mujeres is a must. Round off with dinner under the stars.
Day 3: Playa Del Carmen
From one slice of paradise to another, as we head to the golden sands of Playa Del Carmen. One of the coolest spots on the Riviera, Playa is palm studded shores, boutique stores, and beachside bars galore. Kick back beachside, or drop some pesos in the shops, ahead of a big night out.
Day 4: Caribbean Cool
With colourful reefs, Caribbean views, and a top-drawer food and drink scene, one day in Playa Del Carmen was never going to be enough. Spend today enjoying the city's many charms at your own pace before a final night in its hedonistic bars and clubs.
Day 5: Caye Caulker
Adios Mexico, we're off to Belize. Destination Caye Caulker, a postcard-perfect tropical island with a go-slow attitude. Kick your shoes off when you get off the ferry - you won't be needing them here. Spend the rest of the day topping up that tan or take an optional snorkelling trip to a local reef.
Day 6: Sunset Sailing
Today's yours. Snorkel, siesta or just lay back in a hammock and soak up the sweet vibes. As yet another dreamy day draws to a close, take a sunset cruise on the shimmering waters of the Caribbean Sea. Bliss.
Day 7: Tikal National Park
Take a water taxi back to the mainland before crossing the border into gorgeous Guatemala. Next stop - Tikal National Park, home of Mayan ruins, lush jungle, and unique wildlife. Zoom through the forest canopy on an optional zip-line experience, ahead of a night in a jungle inn.
Day 8: Lost City Sunrise
Watch the sun come up over Tikal's atmospheric Mayan ruins. Take a guided tour of the site, before heading to Flores where we'll grab lunch before flying to the capital city and on to colonial Antigua, one of our favourite cities in Central America.
Day 9: Antigua Tour
Take a tour of the city's colonial Old Quarter with a local guide, before exploring on your own this afternoon. Hike up Pacaya Volcano, make your own chocolates at a native chocolate museum, or take a bike ride to a local plantation. Tonight, there's a Guatemalan feast on the cards.
Day 10: Say Goodbye
Fuel up with one last breakfast with the group before heading homeward or continuing your travels. See you next time!
